As a student at The Voice Lab, you and the business and all of its employees mutually agree to the terms below.
Scheduling policies
Weekly recurring lessons occur at the same day and time each week, with the same teacher. We assume your lessons will continue indefinitely unless otherwise communicated by the student.
Cancellations:
Cancellations can be communicated in 2 ways:
Cancel through our scheduling software by logging into your account.
Email the administrative team to let us know that you won’t make it to the lesson. Do not communicate cancellations to your teacher.
Pay-Per-Lesson cancellations
The Voice Lab has a 24-hour cancellation policy.
For lessons cancelled with more than 24-hour notice, the purchased lesson credit remains on the student account to be used on a future date.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24-hour notice, for any reason, forfeit the lesson fee/credit for that appointment.
Teacher cancellations
If your teacher needs to miss a lesson, we will do our best to reschedule or offer a substitute teacher. Additional lesson credits may be available for teacher cancellations if an accommodation is not possible.

Billing policies
Credit card/payment method on file:
When a new student creates an account through our scheduling software, you will be required to provide a credit card or ACH payment account upon registration.
Auto-billing
Pay-per-lesson billing:
Lesson fees are auto-charged to the card on file at the completion of each lesson appointment for the next upcoming lesson. For example, the lesson fee will auto-charge to the card on file on the 1st of the month if the next upcoming lesson occurrs on the 8th of the month.
New Student Discount:
New Students are eligible for a one-time 10% discount on the first purchase of up to 4 lessons. Once the discounted lesson package is used up, all accounts automatically switch to pay-per-lesson billing.
Monthly Lesson Payments:
Only available to clients whose first lesson was on or before March 1, 2024. Monthly payments process on the 25th of each month for the upcoming month’s lessons. Any unused lesson credits expire at the end of each calendar month.
Charge declined
If an auto-charge declines, the student will receive an automated message to indicate that the payment has failed. If the payment is not received within 24 hours, The Voice Lab staff may contact the student to request an update to the billing information. The Voice Lab staff may also preemptively cancel the upcoming unpaid lesson appointment until payment is received.
Lessons cancelled with less than 24-hour notice, for any reason, forfeit the lesson fee/credit for that appointment.
The Voice Lab reserves the right to update lesson fees at any time for any reason.
